Part of how to find loss of water in a container

There are several ways of finding loss of water in a container. One way of find the amount of lost water, would be to find out how much water you started with and subtract it from the new depth this will tell you how much water was lost.

If you have a container with a hole(s) in it you could find out how much water per second is flowing out and multiply it by the # of seconds the water flowed out for.
