Tips when using excel

 

I understand something that Dave did on excel that might be a help to everyone that did not know about it. When you are using excel and you have more than 2columns and you would like to make a graph of the 1st and 3rd columns you can simply highlight the 1st column and hit the control button and the highlight the 3rd column, then hit graph. This will save you some time rather than have to paste the 2 columns beside each other.

 

 

Also if you have a lot of numbers and decimal places and you want to for example change all of the decimals to 2 places, or to currency with a dollar sign, you can highlight the cells you would like to change. Then go format, then click on cells then it then it will give you a list of the things that you can do to each cell.
